Replumb of house to replace polybutylene pipe with copper

We had our house re-plumbed in 2008. This post has some pictures when the re-plumb was done, but before the drywall was repaired.

Our house had polybutylene pipe, which has reliability issues. After two leaks, we were able to join a class action suit, which paid for re-plumbing our house. I’m posting pictures now because our neighbor had a leak and these may help them fix it by showing them what’s behind the walls. It’s easier to post the pictures than deal with email, and now the pictures are available if others ask about it. I sized the pictures a little too small – I can make them larger if needed.

Parker and Son’s did the plumbing work, and another company did the drywall work.

Here are the pictures:

My those were boring pictures. I like your birds so much better.
But I know it was not a boring job. Ugh! Glad you got it done!

I agree, Jill – very boring pictures. Mike might find them a little bit interesting :). I actually posted them for our neighbors because they are fixing a leak in their house and these will help them fix it by seeing what’s behind the walls (they have the same model as us). I updated the post with that information.

Thanks for checking out the post!

Thank you Joe for sharing the pictures,
These are not boring to me at all, I find them to be extremely insightful and useful.
    Thomas,
