Ricci visited in April. She arrived Monday afternoon on SW Airlines, and left on Saturday afternoon. She was interested in spring training baseball. A local Portland kid named Darwin Barney played for Oregon State, and is now playing for the Dodgers. On Tuesday we went to see them play the Chicago White Sox at the Camelback Ranch facility in Glendale. Darwin got in the game in the 6th inning.
We went to breakfast at The Farm on Tuesday morning and Josh came along. Josh and Aaron came for dinner on Tuesday evening.
Wednesday we went down to our restaurant in Maricopa. It wasn’t crowded, but business was OK for a Wednesday night. We talked with the manager Ryan for a while. Our server was Cameron, who moved to Maricopa from Louisiana, and has only been working there about 3 weeks.
On Friday we went to see the Diamondbacks play the Cubs at Chase Field. It was still spring training, but they played at the Diamondbacks stadium. The Diamondbacks won easily.
