Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch, Sept 22, 2017

There were some unusual birds at RPWR, so Dave and I went to see them. The two we went to see were the Forster’s Tern and the American Redstart. Unfortunately, for both of them we heard the birder’s four worst words “you just missed them”. We got there at about 6:30 and left at about 8:30. We didn’t have much time because I had another appointment to get to.

I am posting a few pictures of ‘the usuals’ from RPWR. The only new one is the Nashville Warbler. I didn’t get a good picture, but I included it anyway.
