Salt River and Saguaro Lake, November 30, 2017

Fr Charlie, John, and I, went to the Salt River and Saguaro Lake. We got to Coon Bluff Recreation Area at about 7:45 am. We didn’t see anything unusual there. I got a shot of a Bald Eagle passing by, not a great shot but I included it. We stayed there until approximately 11:30 (and ate lunch there), and then went to the marina at Saguaro Lake. The Canyon Wren was there, and the Eared Grebes. Next we went to Butcher Jones Recreation Area at the lake. There were lots of Redhead ducks there. We decided to make a stop on the way home at the Goldfield Recreation Area on the Salt River to see if we could see any Bald Eagles. No luck.

We had a great time. The photography wasn’t great, but it was OK, and I always enjoy going to the Salt River, and Saguaro Lake.
